Hippos are one of the biggest animals on the planet and have a big appetite to match! Our hippo girls, Cindy and Unna, eat about 12 pounds of produce, four pounds of herbivore pellets and around 50 pounds of hay in one day. What's a fruit or vegetable you would feed to a hippo?
